Sgroppino Cocktail

The Sgroppino cocktail may be an old Italian classic, with variations of the drink dating back hundreds of years, but our friends over at Quality Italian are giving it a fresh new twist for the summer season.

Created by head bar director for Quality Branded, Bryan Schneider, Quality Italian’s Sgroppino is the perfect cocktail to enjoy during a boozy afternoon or after dinner.

The recipe calls for vodka, Prosecco and, of course, a scoop of sorbet. The sorbet used for this cocktail is made in-house by executive pastry chef Cory Colton. Schneider and Colton teamed up to create this mouthwatering drink in five unique flavors. With options ranging from the classic lemon to strawberry black pepper, and Schneider’s personal favorite, cucumber mint, it’s safe to say that enjoying delicious sorbet in cocktail form may be this summer’s hottest new trend.
