The Tegroni Cocktail

The Tegroni cocktail is made for your classic-Negroni-drinker looking to mix things up for the summer, says bartender Stephen Yorsz. It’s a boozy drink, which not everyone is prepared for, but adding a splash of Santera Reposado or Blanco Tequila will bring it straight into your summer drink rotation.

Tegroni

Stephen Yorsz
A refreshing twist on the classic Negroni, the Tegroni combines equal parts sweet vermouth, Campari, and Santera Reposado Tequila, garnished with a vibrant grapefruit twist. This sophisticated cocktail offers a delightful blend of bold and bitter flavors balanced by the smooth, earthy notes of tequila. Perfect for a refined sip.

I prefer the Cardinale, a Campari cocktail that is one part Campari, one part Vodka, and one part dry white Vermouth, shaken and served up. Ir’s from a Campari recipe book.
