The Tasting Notes
Meet the Queen of the Loire Valley. She rules from a tart, grassy throne in a palace built of minerals. While Sancerre may have one of the most recognizable seals, it is in the realm of Touraine that the Queen truly roams. From the vines she bestows gifts upon all her willing subjects: comforting pink grapefruit upon smooth wet rocks, all with a greenish streak. Lo, the benevolent Queen cometh! All hail, La Sauvignon.
Nose: Slightly sweet citrus and grass clippings by the bank of a brook
Palate: Freshly rooted in minerals, medium-bodied with racy acidity
