This insane mezcal cocktail is brought to you by Pig Beach, our favorite Brooklyn barbecue spot! Think of it as an American Highball meets a mezcal Negroni with notes of coffee and smoked Ancho chile spice to help balance out the bitterness of Campari. It’s the perfect bittersweet pairing to any barbecue dish!
Up in Smoke
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz Del Maguey Mezcal Vida
- 1/2 oz Ancho Reyes
- 1 oz Carpano Antica Formula
- 1 oz Campari
- 1/2 oz cold brew coffee
- Club soda , to finish
- 1 orange , sliced
- 1 mint sprig
Instructions
- BUILD all ingredients over ice in a collins glass.
- GARNISH with slice of orange and sprig of mint. Serve with a straw.
