SOFTEN butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
ADD honey and stir until well combined and butter is melted.
ADD brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice and water and bring to a boil.
REDUCE to a simmer and stir in rum.
SERVE hot!

    Has anyone tried to make this hot buttered rum with the ingredients as listed? How many cups of what?

      Force your browser to refresh the page (F5 on computers). The change servings dealie doesn’t work, if you change the servings from 4 all the amounts go blank.

    I think you might be referring to the number of Mugs of Hot Buttered Rum the recipe produces…… I haven’t made this but it looks like a drink I used to love in the 1960’s on a cold night in Toronto.
